I remember this coming up in the Festival Committee page, actually. My response is the same: I don't self-vote or self-nominate out of principle, but that doesn't begrudge anyone who does. I pretty much agree with Freya. Nominating yourself is pretty harmless and if anything adds a quorum of potential voting choice. Voting for yourself is still within the rules, therefore I don't see any reason to dislike someone because of it.

I'd probably get more nominations or even outright Ciddies if I did self-vote, but I'd prefer it if I won because I was remembered and acknowledged without me nudging myself forward.
