You know what's hard? Asking for help. A lot of people sadly grow up thinking they're on their own, that they have to do everything alone. Asking for help shows weakness. If I can't do it by myself, I might as well not do it!

Or maybe they've asked for help and been shot down. Someone laughed at them for not knowing, or acted annoyed and bothered. Why ask people for help if they'll look down on you? It's not worth it.

I think we're all in this together. No one is born knowing everything, and no one will ever know everything. But the desire to learn and grow as a person is fantastic. These members are the ones we can approach when we need help. They're more than willing to share their knowledge and experience with us, no judgement. Maybe they respect our desire to improve, or maybe they just know how hard it can be to ask for help and want to make it easier. Either way, these members are doing a great thing by helping us out when we need it.

Except.... this is all lies.

Wouldn't it be great to judge hard work on the face value of each nominee? I'm sure if this where the case, people like Psychotic and Shauna would be forgotten under the cloud of dust left behind by the Editor team. Underneath the dust of those nominees, and even beneath Psychotic and Shauna are the non-staffers who are probably not recognised nearly enough because.... they aren't staff.

What we do see is clear. That lots of content is put out by members, that lots of posts are made. That hype is generated by these members.

What we don't get to see is the late nights spent picking the right images for articles, sometimes that someone's free time is assigned to dealing with member problems in private, that people spend a long time coming up with the perfect way to word a riddle to get an event going as best as they can.

We don't see what goes on behind the screen.

ALL of these members is deserving of the Most Hard-Working Member award, and so I don't believe that a true winner can be selected as so much of that hard work goes unseen by a lot of the member base.

I'd like to congratulate you all for being nominated, and just know that I think you're all wonderful, and you're hard work is visible to me. You are all winners.
