Infernape is one of the best starter Pokémon in terms of purely statistical fighting capabilities. It's also my least favorite of the Sinnoh starters (I'm just not a huge fan of monkeys).

The Piplup line is my favorite. Even though both Torterra and Infernape can hit Empoleon for super effective damage with their STAB moves (Ground and Fighting, respectively), it's still a fantastic Pokémon that I love using.

Man, I want Sinnoh remade on the Sun/Moon engine.
