    I use a typical Swedish pronunciation --- "See-DAWN-eh"
    (there are no Z-sounds in Swedish and we don't have any "silent E's" like in English).

    I suppose the English pronunciation is "zee-DONE" or "zee-DANE" or something, though.

    To me, "See-DAWN-eh" feels more natural, probably because that sounds much more "Swedish" than "Zi-dahn".

    It's supposed to be Gitan (pronounced roughly "Zhee-tong"), French for "gypsy", written as ジタン (Jitan) in Japanese. I always pronounce it like that (and I call him that whenever I play the game, too, when I'm feeling mature enough to not just rename him "stupid" or "idiot" so I get him saying "It's me, stupid!").
