Like the title suggest, what are some books you would recommend that you think other EOFFers would enjoy! Who knows some of these may just turn you on to an author who you may have never known before.

I will ill start with one I just finished and really enjoyed. I bought for my kindle the complete work of G.A. Henty recently as I have read a few of his books in the past and enjoyed them. The book I just finished from him was called True to the Old Flag.

It takes place in the America's during the revolutionary war against the British. We follow a young man who was a loyalist to the King and enrolled as a British scout. It was a fresh take on history which was enjoyable to see as we are often taught in North America the Colonist side. Without giving away the story for others I gave it a 4 out of 5.

A Prayer for Owen Meany is a fantastically written piece that I recommend to everyone (even though I'm still reading it)!

The Lucifer Effect if you have any interest in psychology or sociology.

Needful things if you like psychology and horror fiction.

If you're a fan of Margaret Atwood, then you'll definitely enjoy The Heart Goes Last. It's a gripping tale of love, betrayal and ultimately fighting against suspicious organisations!

Also, The Elephant Vanishes. An excellent short story collection that gives you a taste of what makes Murakami amazing. Essentially, it's about regular everyday life from a very interesting perspective. One story left a particular impression on me for having such an unexpectedly chilling conclusion.

Six of Crows! It's a fun Magical Heist book. I just finished it and had a lot of fun reading it and I think more people need to read it.

The Clockwork Century series by Cherie Priest is good. I've completed the first two books (Boneshaker & Clementine) & started the third (Dreadnaught). It's a steampunk series, and each book adds something to the genre (Boneshaker is partly set in a destroyed Seattle overran by zombie-like creatures, Clementine is about sky pirates and spies).
