So what kind of noodles do you guys like best. The classic long Spaghetti? The Sea shells? Or maybe you guys like the twist. Of course there is always the Macaroni too. Which ones do you reach for first?

Noodles? You mean pasta, surely? Unless you guys call pasta noodles? I am so confused right now.
You need sauce to make pasta, but noodles are the plain starch without the sauce.
Penne, shells, Ravioli
Nah, Formy was correct, what you call 'noodles' is actually pasta. Pretty sure noodles is an America thing.
As for my favourite, probably tortellini, although it really depends on the dish. Pasta agli olio is my favourite go-to pasta dish and I find regular spaghetti to be the best for that (linguine works well though). Traditionally I'll use penne for bolognese, fettuccini for arrabiata and carbonara, however I like to vary up the pasta that I eat because, well, it's pasta and it's all good. smurf I love pasta.
Pasta=Italian. Noodles=Asian. Pasta is pasta regardless of whether it has sauce on it or not. My favourite type of pasta is ravioli, by far. I once had a delicious dish of goat's cheese ravioli in a cafe at the top of the Castel Sant'Angelo, with a view overlooking the Vatican. One of my top five food moments.
As far as noodles go, I've always been a big fan of Mi Fun noodles.

Noodles are the overarching family, pasta is like, an individual species of noodles. Then the different shapes are subspecies.
Anyways, I like bow-ties. And the twisty ones.
