Ulysses, the book reeks of someone thinking they are so smurfing clever but forgot to write an actual good story. The fact it's based on The Odyssey, which itself is not exactly a page turner with it's idiot jerk protagonist doesn't help it either.

I smurfin' loved it but Les Miserables is unbelievably long and full of so many characters and subplots.... I just had to stop at one point and I never could start it up again because I'd have to re-read up to that point I stopped.
