The landscape artwork from FFXII was stunning.
Square know/knew how to make excellent villain character designs like Ultimecia & Sephiroth.

Amano is a master of using contrast to great effect and his style is so unique that I think he's probably my favourite artist. It just looks so effortless.

Though Amano is amazing, there is no doubt about that, there's just something about Yoshida's painterly style that is irresistible to me.
Though honestly, my favorite piece of artwork for the series was Hiromu Arakawa's group shot of the FFVI characters. It was commissioned by SE, so it counts
