Thread: Is X-2 Last Mission a separate game or more an add-on?

Default Is X-2 Last Mission a separate game or more an add-on?

Is X-2 Last Mission a separate game to FFX-2 altogether? Or would you say it's more like an add-on?

For all intents and purposes it's a separate game.

Yep. It still has dresspheres and YRP but they play completely differently.

How long does it take to beat? (Just the non-optional stuff)

That is hard to say as it has such a different style that people need to get used to. A few hours, a few more if you have trouble getting used to it. For what its worth, I would say the beginning is the hardest and then maybe a few sinngle moments later can get tricky but overall it is potentially so much more easier later because you can collect more and more items that break the game. There is stuff that can create a copy of what you have and you can use that for levelling up your costumes easily.

I would say the hardest things are:
    - The beginning
    - The secret Tonberry level
    - Even having a clue that one floor is a dead end and that you have to backtrack
    - Major Numerus, not because he is so incredibly hard at this point, just takes its time but I am sure if you are even less prepared he can be very tough so if you already struggled to get to him you might have even more problems

That is just what I can think of right now. It does not mean there isn't more/potentially more. Stuff like breakining costumes, certain traps et cetera can also be annoying.
