I've only given it a couple of listens, and so far it's not bad. I think Dancin' In Circles smacks of Ace of Base, which is a bit disconcerting. John Wayne is pretty catchy; a highlight so far. Joanne itself is really pleasant. It fits in pretty nicely with the rest of the albums I checked out this week, strangely - Wilco, Leonard Cohen, Conor Oberst and Nick Cave. It's good to see her evolving, and it should be a good superb owl show.
