6 and 9 are two of my favorite games in the series. I think 9 has one of the best final fantasy gaming soundtrack of all time. I love the banter between the characters. 6 is one of my favorite ff games because of the game play and the battle tactics. All of you make me sick. You guys sound like chapters in a self help booklet. Kefka was a great bad guy.

I'm in this camp. I think it has something to do with the setting and themes of both games being fairly similar. Both are a mix of steampunk and high fantasy, both have camp villains, both are about the triumph of the human spirit in the face of nihilistic philosophies, etc.
Yep like Kefka who wanted to rule the world. Anyone who opposed him he would send down that light of judgement and then your village is burnt to a crisp. What an evil man.
