I was introduced to this gamer personality survey from someone and thought it would be neat to share with the rest of you.

figured i'd try it out and here's my results, may explain why it takes me forever to get through any game...
As a complete shock to everyone, I like to make characters.
Design (91%): Gamers who score high on this component want to actively express their individuality in the game worlds they find themselves in. In games like Mass Effect, they put a lot of time and effort in the character creation process. In city-building games or space strategy games, they take the time to design and customize exactly how their city or spaceships look. To this end, they prefer games that provide the tools and assets necessary to make this possible and easy to do.
Discovery (91%): Gamers who score high on Discovery are constantly asking “What if?” For them, game worlds are fascinating contraptions to open up and tinker with. In an MMO, they might swim out to the edge of the ocean to see what happens. In MineCraft, they might experiment with whether crafting outcomes differ by the time of day or proximity to zombies. They “play” games in the broadest sense of the word, often in ways not intended or imagined by the game’s developers.

Can't say I feel it's particularly accurate since the social part is just way too high for someone who spends most of his time playing single player games.
So here's my profile.
As I suspected, I score very highly in immersion, and above-average in creativity, with a design aspect of 91%. I'm surprised my discovery score isn't higher, though. I would've thought it'd be higher than 6%.
I'm pretty sure my high community score has something to do with EoFF, or enjoying couch-gaming with others. Who knows. I am not at all surprised my action score is at 2%.

Other than Social and Action, where I was abysmally low, I somehow managed to get one really high score and one really low score in each of the categories. I think this nailed it pretty well. I'm Strategy/Completion/Story through and through. Funnily enough, for all the high scores I got on the RPG motivations, I was really low on Fantasy and Design because I just don't care about immersion at all.

I got real high in that as well, but I was answering those in the sense that I would love to play games with other people. I play mostly single like you, but I crave to play with other people.
I think the recommended games is innacurate though. I generally don't care to play Fifa or Call of Duty, but I do love Earthbound.

Feels pretty accurate for me.
I had low scores in everything. Never felt like they got to what I play for in their questions except on a couple.
What do you play for?

Del, how you don't care about immersion at all, but you play Final Fantasy?

Pretty spot on, surprisingly.
I like Kung-Fu.
Pretty expected, overall
