Worst thing I've ever seen. Absolutely disgusting. Poor Atlanta.
Agreed. Atlanta sports teams have been through a lot. Really feel for them.
I think this game ending in OT is one of the reasons why I don't care as much about football. There's no chance for the opposing team to get an attempt at offense if the coinflip winning team gets a TD. A coinflip literally decides the game.
Pull my Devil Trigger!
Yeah, the coinflip thing is stupid, though I'm not sure Atlanta would have been able to respond anyway, they looked utterly broken by the end of regulation.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Lady Gaga was the real winner.
So I stayed and watched til the half and was like "Oh falcons got this, Saw Gaga, she's fab, time to go home."
Get home and falcons did not have it. damn patriots.
It's kind of irrelevant if they would have done anything or not considering they never got a fair crack at it.
Football has the worst OT ruleset of any major sport. Hockey begins sudden death OT with a neutral faceoff at center ice. Soccer has two 15-minute OT periods regardless if a team scores or not. Baseball has both teams play out their innings until one wins. Basketball has a jump ball to start, and the game continues if both teams are tied at the end of OT. By comparison, football's OT rules are terrible.
Oh well. Back to not caring about football and watching better sports (hockey).
Pull my Devil Trigger!
Ugh smurfing Patriots won. Good game Falcons, was hoping they'd win.
The Falcons absolutely blew it, bottled it when the Patriots starting getting their act together.
YE RAGIN', AYE?
I know that this is about American Footy and everything, but BOY, does the name " The Super Bowl " make me crave a giant bowl of cereal.
Two Patriots players have said they won't accept an invite to the White House. See, the Patriots aren't all bad!
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Was going for Atlanta in this one (obviously) :P
Thought they had it. I mean, 28 3 right? I can't even.
Teams seem to do daft things when in great positions in the Super Bowl, the Pats just seem to rise to the challenge every time (sadly).
I'm waiting for the triumphant Bears Superbowl run in 2018.
