God knows there's a whole crapload of them But which one stuck with you?
For me it's probably General Viper.
I like that he's built up as an antagonist of sorts (even more if you've played Radical Dreamers before it), but then it turns out his town really adores hombre and he's actually a super caring father and everything. Also, he's one of the first people to actually help you after the body swap thing. And then there's the fact that the dude isn't exactly young but he's still 6 foot 7 and massive and can wreck shut with his anchor sword.
I think I kept him in my party all the way until the end? Not sure though.
Chrono Cross has an awesome cast, Guile is probably my favorite though. I love how similar his design is to Magus, and the fact he was originally supposed to be him in disguise. When I was going through a 'chrono phase' a couple of years ago, I remember finding out that in the DS remake there is a scene implying Magus lost his memory after the final battle. Maybe a retcon of sorts for the character?
Anyway though, I first played Chrono Cross back then too. Late to the party, but Chrono Trigger is such an amazing game and I enjoyed playing it's sequel. Even if I had to spend an hour online reading through blog posts to explain the plot, lol.
Glenn and Fargo. Though I have a serious soft spot for Pierre. The fact he becomes a complete beast when you obtain his full Hero Set just makes him awesome to me.
I now have a copy of Chrono Cross, but I haven't played it yet due to being intimidated bye the massive amount of playable characters, but I will play it one day as Chrono Trigger was one of my favorite games of all time.
Kid is my favorite character. Her accent caught on me badly when I played the game. Razzly was also great, and so were Karsh and Glenn. I seem to like the Green-elemental characters.

It's not cheating just because she's the only character with her own theme. I love everything about Kid, her theme is just part of why she's the bestest.
