I actually like the world of ruin a little more haha, but the whole game is great. Tactics has one of my favorite plots in any of the games, Delita is such a great character.
The thing I liked about the world of Ruin was how it was totally open for you to explore. The thing I didn't like is you didn't need to get anyone past Celes, Sabin, and Setzer.
I have! FFTA and the sequel, FFTA2, are my favorite of them!
