What does an Inventor actually do? Literally invent abilities or what?

Well I'm glad you asked because I was like "oh, lemme introduce a new role into EoFF" (well it isn't new elsewhere, but I don't think we've had an inventor yet).
So the inventor can choose to create a one-shot 'item' each night and give it to someone else. So KK could have created a one-shot kill (a handgun), a one-shot watching use (a tracking device), a one-shot cop (a Cylon testing agent) or a one-shot protection (emergency first-aid kit).
The person who KK gave the item to could then use it whenever by just PMing me saying "hey, I wanna use this". I chose the inventor because it could prove really powerful or pretty dangerous, because while you could give a gun to a helpful town, you could also give it to a Cylon, or give a tracking device to a Cylon. It requires good investigative use to be really powerful.
But alas, we won't be able to see how KK would've performed as the inventor. Sorry KK!
Gotta admit, going to bed at 23:00, I didn't expect the Day to pivot around so suddenly before it closed at 00:00.
