More bugs
- sometimes when starting the thing, the lead character will just stand in the front door of the first town area staring right at the camera, not responding to any input, though I can access the menu
- all was well once I restarted but then I found out I can't save. Tried deleting all files and re packing them again - still can't save. And also can't move at all anymore.
The game is unplayable to me at this point sadly
Your first bug appears to happen if you rush through the dialogue at the start, like you need to wait for the cam to pan back down to the party.
Don't mash enter through the start up bit. Let the camera pan all the way down to the bottom of the tower, then mash.

Apparently it works now that I let it all scroll now!
I've figured out the cause of it. I actually start the game off with the character invisible. They then walk to the top of the tower and back (there's better ways of doing it, I am lazy) and then they're set to become visible and teleport to the tower when the speech is done. So if you skip when they're still trying to walk down, they'll teleport, find they can't walk down like they're being told and become stuck there forever. My b. Will fix in the first patch.
