In reality they should be a forced to be reckoned with and seen in that world the way the Brotherhood of Steel is seen in the world of Fallout with awe, wonder, and respect, just for existing. Power armor that can concentrate magic attacks would be pretty tough, but FF characters are always super powerful without armor. It probably would have been interesting if it were fleshed out and utilized more, and have some super tough boss fight like Atma Weapon
