I have a bad feeling about today...
I am actually not chuffed at 0-0. Football, funny old game.
First half was enjoyable. Not so much the second. I don't really mind the defensive tactics so much, but we played utterly awful outside of that. The amount of first touches that got away from us was embarrassing, and I can probably count on one hand the amount of passes we managed to string together that totaled more than three.
With how the game went I am happy with a draw, although I wanted a win going in.
Oh Andy Carroll, when will you learn?
YE RAGIN', AYE?
Think this is a good take on the Pool V Man U game IMO. If however he does this at home then I'd call it lousy tactics.
In other news, delighted with the draw for Ireland in the WC. We have a chance against Denmark.

Sorry mate, Neil Custis is a terrible football pundit and also a suck up to Mourinho so his opinion does not hold much weight with me. Football365 shreds him accordingly: http://www.football365.com/news/medi...ho-masterclass
My take is this: Mourinho wanted a point and got the point so fair enough, but with a troute Liverpool defence he could've got more if he'd tried and in a title race two points dropped could be crucial - their cross-city title rivals sure as hell didn't hold back against Liverpool. Liverpool meanwhile may have wanted 3 points, but so what? They weren't good enough to get them. There's no bragging rights there.
Ha maybe he is terrible (I don't know who he is) just a friend posted it in a group chat and I thought he made some good points. If we somehow manage to get 4 points from Liverpool this season then it's job done 110%. I thought the City/Pool game was very even up until the sending off then the game went awol. City have better players than us like. We could've won but we also could've lost against a team that was excellent against the top sides last season. The football was septic admittedly.

I'd probably say 4 points is not job done if Man City get 6!
I'd also say that while they probably just about edge it, I don't think City have significantly better players than United, like the gap between United and Liverpool/Arsenal is. It's certainly not such a wide gap that it requires radically different approaches. The wage bills are really similar, as has been spending over the past few years.
In other news:
- Also, I don't care if it's "just Maribor", I'll bloody take it.
- Speaking of Man City, wow. Impressive.
- Speaking of impressive, Spurs.
- Speaking of monumental wastes of footballing time, please no Alan Pardew
I'd be surprised if City take 6 points off Liverpool. I'd say the likes of Aguero & De Bruyne are above anything we have bar our goalkeeper. If regardless of age you said Ronaldo or De Bruyne in your team first pick I'd go with De Bruyne. Been really impressed with us this season but I think we're a world class player short this year. That and City look to be the best side in Europe ATM.
I find it hilarious how much the Real players get so wound up when things aren't going their way. Ronaldo hit the post in their first attack and was like 'everyone at home look how unlucky we are we could beat these guys 10 nil if we tried'. In the end Spurs probably should have won. I hope Spurs kill them in Wembley. Both Liverpool and Spurs should be in fine form come their match.

Rashford always makes Lingard look twice the player he actually is. They work really well together. That was a lovely opening goal at the Swans.
Yep. Though Lingard's ability to instigate a run to stretch defence's (apart from on the wings) is the best we have in our squad.
