Blue is the best. They are as good as or better at physicality attacks as Red Mage and have access to healing, attack, and support spells in addition to several unique spells. Their magic power is not as great as some of the other mage classes but if you have an overpowered spell like Frog Drop then who needs magic power? Also, collecting their spells is really unique and fun.
