Ehhhh, it breaks about even. The bugfixes and improved spells significantly reduce the difficulty of the core game, especially if one follows the game's intended 'Fiends -> Legendary Weapons -> Final Dungeon' path, but the heavy focus on elemental gear alongside more enemies using magic bumps the difficulty back up roughly to par. I can say the classic four thief challenge run is a hell of a lot easier though, as those guys are all kinds of stabby madness now.![]()
