What parts of the extended universe do you want in the remake?
The world of Final Fantasy VII has grown so huge since the original game, with each new side game and prequel adding deeper lore to the story.
Is there something from say, Dirge of Cerberus or Crisis Core, that you want mentioned in the remake? Or something you really hope they leave out and never mention again?

I have very little exposure to the extended universe. I was always intrigued by the Zack backstory though. If SE could please release Crisis Core any other system other than an old UMD PSP... THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

I wouldn't mind if the Cloud flashback concerning the real story about him and Zack was a shortened version of Last Order with the Zack/Sephy fight.
Cissenei also never offended me, I would be cool with adding her in just to have a competent female Turk in the game, as long as she wasn't used to reference Before Crisis or Crisis Core in any way into the plot.
Other than that, none of it. I actually hope the ending is done in such a way to retcon Advent Children out of continuity by having Cloud perform a heroic sacrifice to stop Sephy or something, or go with the whole "humanity was wiped out" theory some fans have about the ending.

Oh yes. We need to add the "totally 30 years old even though she has a 10-year-old body, so you can fantasize all you want!" character that was such a necessary addition to the Compilation.
She was in World of Final Fantasy, I'm telling you they're doing it.
I'd love more flashbacks/scenes with Zack.
I think they'll definitely include more Crisis Core era references. There's definitely room in some Shinra archive somewhere to read up on Genesis.
With Dirge of Cerberus you could say "well it hasn't happened yet in the timeline", but some of the characters in the game have been alive long enough to have existed in the original game's timeline.
I want them to throw it all in, just to see how much more rage can possibly be directed at Squeenix at this point.
Add more Genesis. Have him team up with Kadaj and then make them fuse for the true final boss fight. Don't just add Shelke in a cameo -- she should be a full mandatory party member. Lean into it, Squeenix. Let it all soak in.
You're not thinking big enough. Add her as a love interest with an explicit sex scene.
