The Most Appalling Cosplay Costumes In Recorded History
I hope that this is the correct spot to post this. Some of these are just unbelievable. Pic #9 is either Homer Simpson or somebody with the worse case of jaundice I'v ever seen. Not to mention the guy in the pic #2 looking more like a young Charles Manson than Chewbacca.

You seem to have confused 'amazing' for the word 'appalling.'
That's alright. Both begin with 'A' so it could happen to anybody.
Yeah, most of these look like they were done intentionally or were meant to be low key costumes in the first place. Also, I'll admit I'm biased because as I've gone to more cons over the years I have a better understanding on how much work (and money) it takes to even get a half way decent costume working correctly I honestly don't blame some people for sorrier looking costumes.
With that said, though:

Intentionally bad cosplay is never bad. Cosplay is only bad when the person is trying, or just half-assing it. Seriously--if you're not going to go all out, don't do cosplay. You look cringe if you just half-ass it.
