Digimon World Dawn/Dusk
So you know Digimon go from Rookie>Champion>Ultimate>Mega right? And each time their power goes up? But what if we let them go backwards and only lose a fraction of their stats? Once you learn to devolve, like a couple hours in, the game becomes way easier. Not only to they only lose a little of the stats they had, the start at level 1 and can catch up really, really fast. Getting max stats in that game is easy. The only thing that doesn't come naturally by leveling is elementals and you can train that at the farm.
