I am playing 1.5 Mix right now! First time I've played KH in over 10 years and it's a lot of fun.

Gotta prep for KH3! Good luck with Chain of Memories. I got over half way through, couldn't do a boss fight and got so mad about that fact, that I restarted the game on easy.
Never figured why this is always a issue ? Just buy potions and be a independent~ keyblade wielder that don't need no Donald. * beyonce finger snap *
I am not even sure what Donald does in battle. It feels like I'm fighting off 80% of each heartless group that attacks us by myself, and all I hear is just that weird angry scream from Donald over and over again. I am not entirely sure what is happening to him, but whenever I check on him he seems to be missing most of his HP and MP. It's all rather strange. Maybe the horror of a land battle is too much for a sailor like Donald and he just stands there, screaming, until it's all over.
Have you customized his AI in the settings at all? He’s set up to be pretty wild by default
Yeah, it doesn't seem to do much. It's okay, I like having the moral high ground and making passive aggressive comments. Oh wow Donald, it sure must be nice to not have to worry about conserving your MP in case one of us gets seriously hurt. Oh, huh, there's a Stop spell Donald? I wouldn't know, I'm too busy casting Curaga on people.
The big problem with Donald is that he only waits for an absolute emergency to cure you and at that point, you can't just hope he takes care of it and instead have to cast cure yourself. Then you both end up casting it at the same time and you're just wasting MP.
Bonus points for him casting Aero after the last enemy dies in a coliseum fight.

Donald's AI is just t he worst, even in the remaster, KH1 donald just can't do much of anything.
