Good points, but it wasn't the goalie that conceded the penalty.

Some shockingly bad penalties in that shootout.
I didn't mean the goalkeeper should be sent off, but that if a player is taken down with nobody at all between him and goal then they should get a free shot at goal, rather than a defended penalty. The goalkeeper can re enter play after the goal is inevitably scored. The player who gives the foul should be sent off.
