Fun Fact: That sequence was a left over from the original concept that would have seen the cast traveling the world as international students, before the team jumped to the idea of Phantom Thieves after the Tohoku Earthquake.
I like this premise better. But this makes sense, the Hawaii scenes felt kind of pointless, but they were overall pretty fun.
