Gotta go with Steiner on this one. He's a great (underrated) character because he seems like an utterly incompetent buffoon, but his honest devotion to Garnet is admirable. Later on he finds himself and learns that loyalty only matters when it's inspired by conviction. He willingly faces his death to save Alexandria.

Also he's a smurfing tank and the best damage dealer in the game
