Default FFXV Pocket Edition has arrived... on consoles.

    Also it's $30.

Interesting price considering the base copy of Final Fantasy XV runs for $20 in most stores.

This one's a bit puzzling. The premise of the pocket edition, hence the name, is to kind of have a watered down version of a new console game so you could play it on your phone.

I'm kind of over complaining about releases that appear to be cash grabs because that's heavily treaded ground at this point, so I'm just interested in seeing if there's anyone who would want to purchase this over the base game because of the chibi style graphics.

I think it's a good fit for the Switch seeing as the actual game isn't available on the platform, but I don't see the point in it being made available for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Ugh, why? I didn't mind FFXV, in fact I really enjoyed it at times, but I just don't have it in me to play through the story again. They should have at least made this pocket edition a new story or something...

"... and so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written."
