Haven’t played Nier Automata, but even then BBS is pretty dang great
Two of mine right at the start. Going to go with Automata.

Nier because I can't stand Terra in BBS lol.

Don't like either. BBS was the one that turned me off roggt at the beginning with annoying tutorial trout when I wasn't having it and wouldn't let me end it until I did that trout. Might be good, but when I'm just starting a game that I'm trying to play for only a bit you have to hook me not piss me off. Probably shouldn't have started right after KH2, but whatever. Nier Automata is overrated. The battle system is not fun and the navigation is straight up awful. It had some interesting stuff, but ultimately I got lost on wtf I was supposed to do next at some point (again chalk that up to the awful navigation) and it just wasn't worth it to me to take the time to figure it out because I had already become too bored of the game. I'd propbably give it to BBS just because my opinion is based on almost none of the game, but I'll just sit this one out.
Nier. Haven't played BBS, but the Kingdom Hearts nonsense offends me. Nier has lots of nonsense but I wasn't put off by it. Enjoyed Automata quite a bit. Even if it's control scheme can induce hand paralysis or something. One of the few games that actively makes you use every button and trigger on a controller. At the same time
