Final Fantasy: Lost Stranger, a novel about a Square Enix employee

This is over a year old at this point, but it's the first I've heard of it. A description of the book from Yen Press:

Scoring a job at Square Enix, Sasaki Shogo’s dream of producing a Final Fantasy game finally seems within his grasp! But after he starts, he quickly discovers that the work has nothing to do with his favorite franchise at all…

Disillusioned, his enthusiasm for FF begins waning despite his sister / co-worker Yuko’s attempts to lift his spirits. Their conversation is cut short, though, when a runaway truck suddenly careens toward the two of them…!

When Shogo comes to, the first thing he sees is…a Moogle?! Wait, was that a Cure spell? And chocobos…?! Hurled into a Final Fantasy world unbound to any particular installment, how will an uber-fan like Shogo survive?!

I think it's only recently been localised which is why it's kinda just appeared.

Anyway it is an isekai so my expectations are painfully low.

You know, it dawns on me now that this story concept might be a trend going on now In Japan. I know of a few animes that fall into "person enters favorite fictional world" scenarios. More recently though, I read a hilarious manga recently titled "The Time I got Reincarnated as Yamcha" which is basically the story of a Dragon Ball fan getting "killed" and waking up to be Yamcha back in Dragon Ball and then using his fan knowledge to avoid all the pitfalls the character runs into in the series. It's short but hilarious and this story seems vaguely similar.
