Don't like Bravely Default, Parasite Eve's one of the niche PS1 gems.

I love parasite eve. I also like a lot of aspects of Bravely Default. I’ll have to abstain from voting since I’ve never played very far in Bravely Default though. It’s nothing against the game, but I just always seem to play it when I can’t stick with any game for very long and hop around from game to game.

Parasite Eve. Sorry BD, but your final chapters were just painful to go through.
PE strikes me as one of those games that you really had to play during the generation it was released or else you'll never get it (a lot of PSX and N64 games fit into this category). Otherwise, I would give it a try.
