NT is a continuation from what I've read, but it's plot is really sparse compared to the PSP Dissidia titles, and I I haven't heard anything good about it. Not that the original Dissidia's plot didn't read like fanfiction nonsense itself, but most people I've talked to about NT say they under perform with the story and character interactions.
