Lazard after seeing what a giant mess Shrina Inc is, jumps on a train and gets drunk off his arse. While he's in an alcoholic haze, he finds a warp portal and lands into the FFXV world. He awakes with a massive headache, so he takes some "JRPG Memory Loss Pills", down by the local pharmacy. While he's chugging down the pills with a glass of water, he's watching some british chef on television and becomes inspired.
Lazard, now going by the name of Ignis is found by a boy all dressed in black, and joins his friend group.
