    Boco So....

...do you think they'll release the demo after E3 to raise the hype machine even further?

No. This isn't like XV where they need to 'get feedback' - I can't imagine they're going to feel much need to encourage orders with a demo.

It's more about adding hype for fans. It would be more like the FFX and XIII demos which largely remained unchanged but were released to hype up the fans more. My point is that E3 had a demo on the floor that's in English, so why not?

Demos can put people off as well as hype them up. If the hype is already there why bother with a demo?

The most likely case I can see it being released in is as a pre-order bonus for FFVIII Remastered, or an SE Store Exclusive if you buy the FFVIII Remaster download code from the SE Store rather than directly on PS Store. Would be a very easy way of driving up sales of FFVIII Remastered for a good quarterly earnings report.

And the circle of life is complete. I like it!

Why would you need a demo of a remastered game?

I can only assume you think we're talking about a demo for VIII Remastered? We're not. My comment was regarding the Platinum version of Final Fantasy VII 20 years ago, which came with a demo CD for the original Final Fantasy VIII.
