Western box art that is better than the original Japanese box art. Western box art that is better than the original Japanese box art.

What it says on the tin. Name a game where the Western box art is different from the original Japanese box art and surprisingly better than it.

 I present you:

One of the few games that comes to mind (and a JRPG at that):

Granted neither of the two is particularly great, but at least the NA one is more than just a generic background.

Someone's itching for a fight from the sounds of things. Excuse me while I scream for a few minutes until I'm powered up. Then we can tussle.

Pretty sure nobody has actually played ET here, so they can't really get heated about it being bad because it's all just hearsay. But everybody loves Toriyama.

I've played E.T. on Atari, and it is indeed a trout show, but I also agree that the Atari had a lot games just as bad or worse.

The DQ thing really comes down to whether you like Toriyama's art or not. Personally, I feel his art tends to showcase what DQ is really like, with a certain amount of whimsy to them. Whereas the generic D&D style covers of the NES entries can throw you for a loop when you see all of Toriyama's cutesy monster designs in game.
