Eureka! Monolith Soft turns 20 today!

Formed from former Square employees who worked on FFVI, VII, and Chrono Cross as well as spearheading cult classic Xenogears; they left Square and formed their own company on October 1st 1999. Now better known for the Xenoblade series, the company is considered one of the better Japanese RPG companies who has helped Nintendo out quite a bit in the last decade as they make their exclusive series on top of helping out with Zelda's development.

The company is known for Xenosaga, Soma Bringer, Baiten Kaitos, Namco X Capcom, as well as Xenoblade Chronicles of course. What's your favorite game by them?

Probably Xenogears, though Xenoblade Chronicles is pretty close. Wow, it's hard to believe it's been 20 years

Never had the pleasure of playing Xenogears so Xenoblade Chronicles is hands-down my favourite game from them. The soundtrack was incredible and it had an amazing setting. The battle system was enjoyable even if the random shouting did get old very, very quickly ("Hammerrrrrr BEATS!!")

I'm sure I'll pick up Xenoblade 2 at some point. Just hope it doesn't take 162 hours like the first one did!
