Damn that was a great writeup. I love this game, it's my favorite of the SNES generation of FF games, and yeah, most of that is in just how much simple and great fun the game is, while also carrying some of the most poignant moments of its peers. Finding and wandering around Lix is a moment I'll never forget, much less anything involving Gilgamesh, from his early hijinks to his eventual unexpectedly moving self-sacrifice.
