It's actually not something I'd have voted before, instead I'd have been like "It's great enough as it is, just leave it be, remake an entry I like less instead", but after seeing how FF7 remake turned out (well, partially), seeing a 9 remake with the same immense effort would be amazing. It'll never happen, of course.
Honestly, if the VII R does well enough for SE. I can see them doing a remake series for some of the more popular entries.
