    We've all played a lot of RPGs so which games had the best monster designs in your opinion?

    I generally don't think too much about a game's monster designs or pay that much attention to them, honestly, so I end up not remembering that many of them.

    That said, the first thing that came to mind was Bloodborne. Dark Souls as well, but that has more human/knight-type enemies, which I feel are a bit generic.

    For me, an easy choice is MegaTen. Kazuma Kaneko's design are really distinct and I like his interpretations of a lot of folklore style monsters.

    I also really liked Tetsuya Nomura's monster designs in FFFV, VI, and VII

    Amano's designs are not bad either. Though none of SE's guys have anything on Akira Toriyama's DQ designs.
