    Default PS4 FF7 issues (OG)

Anybody else feel that some elements of this update feel messed up?

The G-Bike and Speed Square mini-games are particularly jacked up. In my original PlayStation playthrough, I had no problems get up to 26000 points in G-Bike and about 6000 points in Speed Square. Now G-Bike is tossing all these squirrelly red bikes at me that I can't slash (have to ram them with my bike... the original game probably had a programming error that made all the bikes behave the same) and the Targeting Reticle at Speed Square moves around too damned fast. It's outta control. Of course, honestly, I haven't played 7 in almost 10 years, but my memory can't be that bad.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

I feel your memory is just fuzzy from your days when you had mad skills for G-Bike. G-Bike is always an RNG crapshoot on whether you're going to get easy fodder or be dealing with Red Bikes all the time. I usually had to replay it a few times to get a high score.

Speed Square is a different story cause they did alter it a bit when they ported the game from PS1 to PC, and all future ports of VII are based on the PC version. The big difference is that the cross-hairs do move much faster, they have a bigger response to slight touch than the original which makes aiming more difficult. The PC version also has the roller coaster going much faster, you clear the challenge around 40 seconds faster than the PAL version, and it's still faster than the NA console version as well. So you have far less room for error. One the brightside, the Zeppelin Propeller can actually be hit and is worth over 4000 points. So taking out that and the Flying Saucer at the end pretty much guarantees the Umbrella and Flayer.
