What if EoFF shut down?

Definitely voting for everybody saving 1 thread each so, one day in the far distant future, a bunch of traumatised descendants can piece together part​ of this clustersmurf and make some new friends discussing whatever the hell you call this

In all seriousness, I spent some time this weekend on automatically crawling the entire forums and archiving its (public-facing) content for posterity. I could probably set it up to log in so it can at least get Lifestream and whatnot...

Anyways, my internet died this morning, so the crawler was shut down. I can't get a technician out until Wednesday. MAYBE IT'S A SIGN.

I would be interested in doing this. Does it archive in HTML format, or just text? Are images archived and properly linked?

Still waiting for the cable company to fix my connection; the cable coming into the building literally fried itself. Once it's back up I'll resume the archiving.
