EoFF RPG Thunderdome 2020: Round 1 Match 6

Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
I've never played Neptunia, and I don't have a good impression of the series. However, I have played Xenoblade 2 (as much as I could stomach), and I not only hate it, I find it offensive that it could be deemed a "good" series. What about it is remotely likeable. Is it the mostly auto-battle based gameplay where you wait around for special moves to fill up or could it be the overwrought anime plot with drawn out cinematic fights starting right from the beginning of the game? My choice here is clear.
This is a good category for Victory. Rei Rights, the big bad of this game is based off the Atari. And most of the story takes place in a dimension based around 1985. She went mad with power. And saw herself as perfect. Afraid of losing her power she ended up nuking her own country.
I don't really consider either one that strong in this aspect, but I liked the Torna crew in XC2 so I'm going with that.
Which of these games had Sephiroth in it? I'll vote for that one.
