FFX is not my favorite entry, now is its soundtrack one of the best imo, but it’s still a damn solid soundtrack. Though Uematsu’s contributions are some of his weakest in the series (though I still generally enjoy his work here than in VIII), this soundtrack was the first time Masashi Hamauzu composer stuff for the series and boy is he great. Junya Nakano’s here too, though I’m mostly neutral on him

I've become less appreciative of the FFX OST over the years, I still think it's okay but that's about it.

Love all the music in Bloodborne, so my vote goes there.

FFX has a higher than usual number of "meh" tracks, for a Final Fantasy game. The good ones, however, are some of the best in the series, so it's still got my vote.

Yeah, I generally agree with the sentiment that FFX is no t among the best FFs in terms of OST, but it is still FF and that carries a standard of quality that is rarely matched.

FFX was the start of Uematsu's declining role in the FF series but he still wrote enough of the tracks for it to be memorable.

Man you're all a disappointment letting the gorgeous soundtrack of Bloodborne lose out to one of the weaker FF OSTs out there.
Ten reasons Bloodborne's Music is better than FFX's

I resent the notion that only Uematsu is capable of writing memorable tracks Personally, with X’s OST I’ve always felt that Uematsu was burnt out by the gargantuan effort that was the FFIX OST. He certainly isn’t on top of his game here, and I think the other two actually did a better job this time

I tried I figured FFX would win because well, it's EoFF, but I'm actually a little surprised I'm the only one who voted Bloodborne.

Inclined to agree, except tbh I don't remember which tracks are Uematsu's and only remember that was my impression at the time.

Well, he wrote Zanarkand, which is one of the most beautiful FF songs out there. And the battle theme. And Auron's theme. Aaaaand pretty much every song I remember from that game.

I feel that alone should disqualify his accomplishments on the OST personally. FFX has one of the worst battle themes in the series.

Wow, I'm shocked. That battle theme is one of the best in the series, for me anyway. In a soundtrack that overall is a bit of a disappointment, it was always one of the standouts for me.
