FFV is not one of my favorite FFs, even in the music department. Unlike apparently everyone else on the planet, I'm also not hugely into the job system, at least as implemented in FFV (FFT does it better). That said, it is still FF and music and gameplay are it's strongest categories (compared to story, cast, and villains, where I probably just couldn't vote for it). I think FFV is probably the stronger one here, despite my more limited knowledge of Shadow Hearts.
FFV’s soundtrack is absolutely some of Uematsu’s best work ever
