Yeah, she's probably one of my first experiences with "Manic Pixie Dream Girl". Even before that trope was a thing, there was a want in life, as a shy introvert in high school; that some hot chick would feel inclined to take me under her wing and push me out of my comfort zone. The trope probably existed in movies for a time, but she maybe the first or at least one of the earliest examples in a video game. Maybe that's why she's so divisive
