Probably anyway. Those old Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons would be another contender, but they weren't really from my childhood, were they?

Star Trek.
No, not a silly reboot movie full of lens flare and emotional Vulcans. A series, set after Voyager. Show us Captain Daniels on the Enterprise J or something.
Pinky & The Brain as it was the greatest cartoon of its day and any other day.
There still aren't any "emotional Vulcans" in the new Star Trek. Spock is half-human and young, and one of the whole points of Vulcans is that they feel absurdly intense emotions so have adopted rigorous training to bring them under control. It is debatable whether this has ever worked well, although at least they're less belligerent than the Romulans.
And the lens flare complaints are ridiculous. Sorry but I can't think of a more ridiculous thing to criticise.
Stop calling out my terrible arguments.
The lens flare was an internet meme
And yes I know the reason for the suppressed emotions is that they are actually heightened by nature. To be fair, even in Enterprise (set many years before TOS) they'd been very well controlled and T'Pol had her reasons for emotionalism that were outside of her control (Trellium-D). Where's the reason for Spock and Uhura, hmmm?
I just prefer the past versions not to be meddled with ok :P
