I've been re-watching some of the Gundam series lately. Just finished Stardust Memory (which I hadn't watched in like fifteen years) and now I'm re-watching Zeta.

I recently bought the G Gundam box set. While it was still being created, there was a Twitter poll asking what people would want to come included within.

A big plot point of the first part of the series is Domon looking for his brother, so a lot of people hilariously posted this photo along with a caption like "I'd like information regarding the whereabouts of this man".

The picture itself ended up being included the box set lmao.

I watched most of the Gundam series because of how much I got into the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games, and after getting the platinum trophy for Gundam 3 on PS3 I finished watching the 22 episode Unicorn series because of how overpowered the titular Unicorn Gundam was in that game, followed closely by the God Gundam and the Knight Gundam. I didn't really like it at all, felt kinda whiny. I still like Wing because I watched it as a teen, but I'm still not a fan of the artstyle that much. So I think all in all the original is my favorite, with Amuro and Char generally keeping my attention more than most of the later characters.

War in the Pocket

It lacks the epic sweep of many of titles in the franchise, but it is the most personal. There are no villains here, just people doing their jobs. All the leads are likeable, which makes the events that transpire even sadder.

I have three model kits I get to work on. Picked up Gundam Wing Zero (original) HG 1/144. An RX-78-2 that I plan to build once I complete a certain task. Finally I have a OZ Leo coming in the mail soonish. Can't wait to start building them.

I need to restart Zeta, I tried to watch it last week but got badly distracted, so I need to start over again.
