Vincent. He at least has a connection to the story.
I love the Wutai sidequest though.

Yuffie is fun and refreshing. Vincent does however have plot relevance.
I'd probably go for Yuffie because it's just a game, but it's not an easy choice.
Probably Yuffie because of the Wutai sidequest. I like Vincent but his plot relevance does suffer from being mostly cut due to time constraints.
