    Chocobo Which remaster do you consider to be the best?

    Barring additional fan mods stuff, which of the FF entries that have received a remaster within the last decade or so do you feel saw the best improvements?

    I have surprisingly not played any of them except XII, but I'll be going through the others soon, and I'm curious to hear what other people feel about the VIII-X remasters and the PR series for the 2D entries.

    As far as remasters go, FFX is by far the most well done remaster. FFVIII was a huge disappointment since they didn't really do much with it. FFX is absolutely beautiful and I do enjoy the updated soundtrack.
